T-minus 17 Days Till Departure, continued...

It has just been decided that we will now have the yard sale tomorrow (Sat) instead of Sunday because Sun is calling for rain….so that means we really need to get moving now, however there is not much I can do here on my own. I suppose it will have to be done after Kaitlyn goes to sleep tonight. Hopefully she sleeps better tonight then last night, we were up for most of the night with her from 3:30 on, I think it is her teeth again, she is getting her front 2 to add to the bottom 2 and top canines that she currently has. On top of that we have all been sick with colds, and some sort of eye infection that seems to be going around (lovely, I know!) lol. Hopefully we all get this out of our system before going up north, but it has, to say the least slowed down our progress.

I am writing this in spurts in amongst playing with Kaitlyn, with no T.V. the internet is my only source of entertainment for the time being. Kaitlyn has become quite independent over the last week, we have expanded her play area to include the dining room and kitchen now, so she is quite entertained exploring. She is so funny with the things she comes up with doing on her own! She is currently without most of her toys because they have already been sent up north, so I think she is doing quite well. I can not believe how well she is walking, in just a few weeks she has become a pro. I just hope she stops trying to step on things which make her fall!! She also has a knack for picking things up which are much to big for her to be carrying, as well as blankets and towels. She is such a comedian and knows that she is funny too!

Apart from Kaitlyn’s toys missing we have also recently packed most of our clothing and have been trying to live on just a few articles each, which has been interesting… I often have to pull things out, especially with the weather so suddenly changing to fall temps. Another reason I will be glad to be done this in between time of leaving and being there. There also seems to be a never ending list of things we need to get before we leave, and no money to get it with. Ryan’s new employer Nunavut Auto, just told us that he needs to get Carhardt Winter overalls and jacket, plus a parka, and steel toe winter boots, so that is going to run us around the $400 mark all together. Luckily my brother Matt has some coveralls Ryan can use for now and we will just have to ship the stuff up when we can.

Well thats all for now, Yard Sale tomorrow looks like so when Ryan gets home we will have to make and post signs and finish cleaning and pricing! It is going to be so strange not having any furniture in the house!!!! Wish us luck with the yard sale!
